Link Type refers to the type of link that will be placed on a given web page.
Contextual links are links that are embedded in the content of a site similar to how the word "embedded" is a link in this sentence.
Regular one way link is a link that is just the actual link text with no other text surrounding it. Usually these are placed on the side bar of a web page but don't necessarily have to be. An example of a regular text link is below:
Image link with alt text refers usually to a banner link advertisement where the person placing the image on their site will allow you to add alt text to the image. The alt tag has a similar effect as anchor text of a regular text link. NOTE: We assume in our calculations that all image links are straight links without any redirects.
Image link with no alt text refers to a banner or image link placed on a page where the image has no alt tag associated with it.
Reciprocal link is a link where a website owner places your link on their site and in return you place their link on your site.
